Tim Campeau

Tim graduated with a business degree, played some pro lacrosse and has been a serious coach for a long time. Currently, a Firefighter in Vancouver, he is a part of the Mental Health team that deals with Resiliency and Critical Incident Stress Management. He has been helping deliver Campeau Learning and Development courses for over 6 years.

Tim Williams,MBA, B.Econ., CPA, GSC

Tim is the President of BGC Partners Inc. Tim has worked with numerous construction companies for over twenty years. He is a Gold Seal Certified project manager. He is an experienced and sought-after trainer who has trained construction owners and managers on behalf of construction industry associations across Western Canada.

Tom Stephenson, MBA, PMP, CM Lean

Tom Stephenson is an award-winning professor and author whose background in postsecondary education spans over three decades at George Brown College. His diverse teaching disciplines include construction project management, business management, architecture, carpentry, and brick and stone masonry. As a dual-professional, Tom is called upon by industry leaders to translate knowledge, reinvigorate corporate cultures, and inspire innovation in emerging and established companies across Canada. Before entering the academic realm, Tom acquired more than a decade of practical project-management experience, operating a mid-sized Toronto-based general contracting firm. He is the author of four best-selling editions of Understanding Construction Drawings for Housing and Small Buildings with Nelson Publishing Canada and recently released Planning, Scheduling and Control of Construction Projects with American Technical Publishing. Tom has collaborated with the Toronto Construction Association (TCA), The Construction Institute of Canada (TCIC) and its member companies for nearly two decades, designing and teaching a number of courses. 

A champion of change management, Tom takes pride in helping students and businesses navigate uncharted territories, take calculated risks, and rise above the status quo. When the COVID-19 pandemic struck, he diversified his teaching approach, launching a YouTube channel and microsite to ensure learners had access to timely, relevant content. His 100+ videos have more than 30,000 views. 

Tony Healy, BC, CEC

Tony is a Certified Executive Coach who is passionate about leadership coaching and draws on his broad experience in professional sports to deliver highly engaging training sessions. As an EH&S Consultant, he works with his clients to empower successful safety cultures by employing a coaching approach with their teams. Tony blends his construction expertise and experience with his background as a multi-sport, nationally ranked athlete and 15 years working as a professional, high-performance coach. This unique combination results in training that takes the most up-to-date leadership theories and practices and boils them down to the essentials so that you and your crew can walk away from a course ready to implement your new skills on site.

Trenton Grover

Over 23 years experience working in the Crane and Rigging industry, 18 of those years spent working internationally in Offshore Ship Based Oil and Gas where extreme conditions make safety and attention to detail critical. This background has given me a unique perspective when it comes to safety and enables me to provide the top-quality training that Bigfoot Academy prides itself on delivering. I enjoy using this knowledge, experience, and high standards to help create a safer environment for the Crane and Rigging industry.

Troy Henderson

Troy is the Chief Estimator for a prominent electrical contractor and is a BC Master Electrician FSR Class A. Troy has been in the electrical industry since the early 1980's. He has worked on some of the largest electrical projects in BC. In 1999 he moved into the role as an Estimating/Project Manager. He has successfully landed many jobs of all sizes and has a passion to train a new generation of Estimators in ethically securing business for their companies.

Walter Strachan, RSW, PQS (F), CSC (F).

Walter has extensive experience earned through over 40 years in the consulting engineering industry with CBCL Limited. During his career he has served as department manager, project manager, corporate quality manager (ISO 9001), corporate risk manager), principal, director, and Chair of the Board at a major Atlantic Canada-based engineering and environmental services company. 

Upon retirement from CBCL Limited, Walter opened Act 3 Advisory Services, to continue a life-long obsession with all things related to project delivery in the design and construction industry.

Walter’s design and construction interests center around standard practices, project delivery methods, cost planning and control, risk management, and dispute resolution. Those interests resulted in tenures as Chair, Canadian Design-Build Institute (CDBI); President, Canadian Institute of Quantity Surveyors (CIQS); Chair, Canadian Construction Documents Committee (CCDC); and Board Member, Canadian Construction Association (CCA).  He has also served on several significant Task Teams including MasterFormat; CSC/CSI Uniform Drawing Systems; and the Integrated Delivery (IPD) Task Team.

Walter is the 2021 recipient of the Nova Scotia Consulting Engineers (CENS) Distinguished Service Award.

Wayne Newell

For over 35 years Wayne provided financial leadership to companies throughout Canada, the United States, and the Caribbean. Now retired, he was formerly a designated CMA (Certified Management Accountant). As your course developer and instructor, he has a deep background of experience in accounting - specifically in the area of construction contracting – and is enthusiastic about passing on his industry knowledge and insight. 

During his seminars, he discusses his experiences in implementing specific techniques, methods, and strategies used to help contracting companies increase profits, control and/or reduce costs and improve cash flows. In the past twenty years, Wayne has presented his exclusive Construction Management Courses to over 3,500 construction professionals from St. John’s to Victoria.  He was awarded his CMA designation in 1972.
