Organizing Your Finances in 1 Month
join us for this informative and interactive workshop / webinar on Organizing Your Finances In 1 hour, we will take you through a 4 week, step-by-step process on how to create an organized system
Description
Bills, statements, documents, important papers – it’s overwhelming how much information we have about our finances! Where are you keeping all of this information? Is it stuffed in a box under the bed? Are you keeping it all in a shopping bag in the closet? Or maybe it’s all tucked away into a few folders.
Not having our financial information and documents organized can feel chaotic. It can make us feel like we don’t even know where to begin to get some control and to feel organized.
There are many benefits of organizing your finances. Organizing your documents and information can allow you (or your family) to find important documents quickly when you need to. This can help you get in control and to stay in control of your finances, and can also be very reassuring in times of crisis or emergency. Once you’ve created an organizational system that works for you, maintaining that system becomes much easier – as your documents or information comes in, you open it, deal with it and then file it away. It’s as simple as that!
Join us for this informative and interactive workshop / webinar on Organizing Your Finances In 1 hour, we will take you through a 4 week, step-by-step process on how to create an organized system. You will learn how to:
- Set up a folder system (paper or electronic) for your finances
- Create different folders for the important documents in your life
- Set up a back-up system to protect your information
- Create an “In the Event Of…” document for your loved ones to use if something happens to you
- Look into various online resources to gather more information.
This interactive and fun workshop will last 1 hour with time for questions and discussion. We take a “grab and go” approach where you grab an idea or two and go try it. You’re welcome to share your ideas on any tools and tips that help you to stay organized, and you are welcome to ask any questions you may have. All participants will walk away with ideas, resources and the full curriculum upon request.
