It requires individuals and families to learn a new culture, a new government, a new system, possibly a new language, along with a new banking and financial system. The Canadian financial system is complex and oftentimes confusing to navigate. The information available to you can be overwhelming!

Credit Counselling Society has created a program that covers everything from opening a bank account, understanding the importance of credit and how to read your own credit report, to information on how to avoid becoming a victim of scams, fraud, and identity theft.
