Confined Space Entrant & Attendant Training

This 8-hour training course is designed to provide participants with the knowledge and skills necessary to safely work as confined space entrants and attendants.

The course will cover WorkSafeBC requirements, confined space program specifics, hazard assessment processes, control methods, rescue procedures, and other essential topics related to confined space entry.

By the end of this course, participants will have gained the necessary knowledge and skills to safely enter and work within confined spaces, as well as fulfill attendant duties effectively. They will be equipped with the tools to identify hazards, implement control measures, and respond appropriately in the event of an emergency, ensuring compliance with WorkSafeBC regulations and promoting a safe work environment.

Delivery Method: Classroom Session 

Course Fee Includes: All books and materials, and upon completion a certificate valid for 3 years.

This training is intended for individuals who may be required to enter or work in confined spaces as part of their job responsibilities. This includes but is not limited to:

• Construction workers
• Maintenance personnel
• Industrial workers
• Utilities workers
• Emergency responders
• Safety officers

Anyone involved in confined space entry or who may be responsible for overseeing confined space work, such as attendants or hole watch personnel, would benefit from this training.
