This course will focus on the effective use of the AutoCAD Civil 3D 2024 version’s functionality that is specific to the methodologies and techniques for the successful design of grading plans for site plans and subdivision developments. Participants will learn a variety of grading tools as well as techniques for working with grading groups, criteria sets, and feature lines. By exploring the various grading-specific design tasks, participants will become comfortable with the workflow in Civil 3D that is required to create and display design surfaces and calculate volumes. With the completion of this course, participants will receive a thorough understanding of the processes and procedures available in Civil 3D to complete a variety of grading projects.
