Getting construction contracts right is critical to the success of any project, and to do this you need to know which contract form best suits your project and what the terms mean.
In this webinar, the team of lawyers heading Clark Wilson LLP’s Infrastructure, Construction & Procurement group will review and discuss the forms of construction contracts typically used in Canada, along with the key terms of each agreement. They will also review in detail the recent changes made to the CCDC 2 (2020) standard form of contract, including the new prompt payment regime that is coming into effect in many Canadian jurisdictions.

This webinar will be of interest to construction professionals around the globe with interests in Canada. Canada, and Vancouver in particular, is an Asia Pacific hub in North America with a large Asian presence in our construction and development sector. European participants, specifically insurers of construction projects in Canada, will benefit from gaining a better understanding of the common Canadian construction contracts.
