AI & Automation Demystified Series Part 1
Understand foundational concepts and see AI in everyday life
Description
This four-part series presented by autonommi is designed to take the mystery out of Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Automation. Whether you're new to these concepts or curious about their practical uses in everyday work, the series offers an approachable path to understanding and applying AI tools — without needing to be technical.
Part 1 – What is AI, Anyway?
Goal: Understand foundational concepts and see AI in everyday life.
- Plain-English definitions: AI, Machine Learning, Automation
- Examples from daily tools (Netflix, Siri, autocorrect)
- Common myths debunked (e.g., AI ≠ robots)
- Why businesses are adopting AI
- Live demo of ChatGPT for everyday tasks
- Interactive: Polls, analogy game, mini quiz
- Takeaway: Glossary of common AI/automation terms
Each session builds on the last, mixing clear explanations with interactive activities, real-life examples, and demos of easy-to-use tools. The goal is to empower participants to identify areas in their own workflows that could benefit from smart automation and AI assistance — saving time, reducing stress, and boosting productivity.
Participants will leave with practical takeaways, resources, and a better understanding of how to start small and stay smart when introducing these technologies into their business or team operations.
