Whether you work for an existing construction-related business or are planning to start your own business this course will provide you with the information necessary to be a more valuable employee and successful entrepreneur.
This blended delivery course will be delivered with 3 live 3-hour online sessions plus a bonus 16 hours of added recorded sessions that you can access directly through the online links provided.
The live, instructor-led virtual sessions will explore the key concepts of business management as they apply to the operation of a construction, trade-related, or consulting business. Participants develop the skills necessary to establish, market, and operate a successful business by learning and applying a variety of soft, technical, and analytical skills.

This course is delivered in partnership with local and provincial construction associations across Canada. You will be participating with a group of industry peers from multiple regions.

Internet connection- For best results, you will want to ensure you have an internet connection with an upload/download speed of 3-5 Mbps. You can test your internet speed here. The minimum recommended speed is 1.5 Mbps, but anything below 3 Mbps may result in loss of quality or buffering. Ideally hardwired connection versus wireless for stability - connect your computer directly to your router using an ethernet cable, rather than using your home wi-fi.
