Description
This course aims to familiarize current Quickbooks users with advanced commands, functions, and capabilities not covered in Part 1. Designed for those seeking a deeper understanding of the software's advanced features, it builds upon the foundational knowledge from the previous course and progresses at an accelerated pace.
This is an intermediate-level course.

- The set-up of a company file
- Review and modification of preferences
- Reconciling a bank account
- Creating classes and reporting on performance by class
- Security, users, passwords
- Advanced payroll (benefits, ROEs, T4s)
- Setting up and charging finance fees
- Preparing customer statements
- Writing off bad debts
- NSF Cheques
- GST/PST remittance
- Using a credit card for purchases
- Payroll remittances

This course is delivered in partnership with local and provincial construction associations across Canada. You will be participating with a group of industry peers from multiple regions.
Sharing a single registration between two or more individuals is not permitted. Please register each person who will be in attendance.
Prerequisites
Prior completion of the Quickbooks Part 1 course is required for students to enroll in this course.
Who Should Attend
This course is for current Quickbooks users seeking advanced functionality not covered in Part 1. It builds on existing knowledge, covering topics like company file setup, preference modification, bank reconciliation, class reporting, user security, and advanced payroll.

This course will involve on-screen interaction with your instructor and classmates, reading/viewing on-screen content (slides or videos), and interacting via typing with questions or responses. For this reason, cellphones may not be adequate.

Internet connection- For best results, you will want to ensure you have an internet connection with an upload/download speed of 3-5 Mbps. You can test your internet speed here. The minimum recommended speed is 1.5 Mbps, but anything below 3 Mbps may result in loss of quality or buffering. Ideally hardwired connection versus wireless for stability - connect your computer directly to your router using an ethernet cable, rather than using your home wi-fi.
