Leading with a Coaching Mindset

Description

Did you know that coaching is one of the top skills desired for front-line managers and that leaders who consistently coach their employees are considered more inspiring? You can be that inspiring leader!

Coaching is essentially a conversation between a coach and an employee. It involves helping individuals access what they already know, rather than telling them what you think they should do. As a coach, you assist, support, and encourage employees to find their answers. In the process, employees build both skills and autonomy. Coaching is more about asking the right questions than providing answers – a coach collaborates with the employee to establish and clarify purpose and goals and develop a plan of action to achieve these goals.
