Collaborative BIM introduces the principles of collaborative Building Information Modeling (BIM) and how teams work together across the project lifecycle. It covers core collaboration processes, including key workflows, coordination practices and the application of lean principles to improve efficiency and project value. It also explores industry standards that support consistent BIM implementation. You will learn essential terminology, Levels of Development and Model Development Specifications, along with an overview of national BIM standards and open data frameworks such as COBie.
