Description
"Tools to Not "Lose It" When Things Don't Go Well in the Construction Industry”
We’ve all experienced a person or situation that sparks an intense emotional reaction- one that feels bigger than the situation itself. This is what it happening when we “lose it"- our brain perceives the situation far worse than it really is, sending us into a highly reactive state.
We may lash out, saying something we later regret, or escalate a situation unnecessarily. Or we might shut down, avoiding confrontation, or withdrawing in ways that aren’t helpful.
Either way, our minds often become consumed by looping thoughts- rehashing what happened, how we were wronged, or what we should have done differently. It’s mentally exhausting, erodes focus and confidence, strains relationships, and takes a toll on our well-being.
The good news is that we can train ourselves to respond more intentionally rather than react impulsively.
Don’t let triggers dictate your actions. Join us for this engaging session, where you’ll gain practical tools to recognize, regulate, and reframe your reactions- helping you navigate triggers with greater awareness, composure, and grace.
At the end of this session, participants will:
1. Understand the neuroscience behind triggers and why they happen to everyone.
2. Recognize how reactive behaviors impact productivity, relationships, and mental well-being.
3. Learn actionable tools to manage your reactions and respond with intention and maturity.
