FREE! Real Talk with Women Leading What’s Next
Highlighting Women In the Built World
Description
We’re hosting a series of candid conversations with women who’ve stepped into bigger roles, shaped major wins, and changed the way their companies work. Expect practical insights, candid reflections, and the kind of real-world lessons you can only get from people who’ve lived them.
Our guest for this session: Rachael Ferrera, Manager of Investments & Ideation at Zachry Construction Corporation, believes more women are ready for bigger roles than they think. She’s seen how often women wait until they feel fully equipped before stepping forward — while others trust they’ll learn what they don’t know along the way. Her message is clear: don’t wait until you’re 100% ready. Growth happens in the stretch. Rachael will share what stepping into opportunity before you feel perfectly prepared has taught her, and why working hard, staying humble, being assertive, and never stopping your learning might be the most practical leadership advice there is.
Alicia Kirkland, Direct Sales Representative, has recently stepped into a new role that demands visibility, influence, and confidence. Earlier in her career, she was encouraged to tone down parts of her personality – traits that she now recognizes as leadership strengths. Through stretch opportunities and meaningful sponsorship, Alicia learned to stop holding herself back and start betting on her own potential. She’ll share what that shift looked like and how it’s shaping the way she leads today.
Walk away with insights you can actually use, and probably a lot to think about!
