FREE! Hard Hats, Tough Talk, and the Line You Can’t Cross
Preventing Job Site Bullying and Protecting Mental Health
Description
Construction sites are fast-paced, high-pressure environments where direct communication is essential—but there’s a clear line between respectful, tough conversations and workplace bullying. When that line is crossed, the impact goes beyond productivity and safety; it can significantly affect mental health, morale, and retention.
This one-hour Mental Health Lunch & Learn helps construction leaders, supervisors, and workers understand what job site bullying looks like, why it matters, and how to address it early. Grounded in real construction scenarios and aligned with BC’s anti-workplace bullying legislation and employer responsibilities, the session focuses on practical strategies to create safer, more respectful job sites where people can do their best work.
