Professional Driver Improvement Course Defensive Driving – PDIC or DDC

Description
The focus of these courses will be to increase people’s awareness of the importance and need for defensive driving, to provide people with additional skills and knowledge to drive DEFENSIVELY and to encourage people to have a better driving attitude. Most importantly, our goal is to motivate people to want to save lives and reduce injuries.
Alberta infrastructure, the provincial body responsible for regulating Defensive Driving Instruction in Alberta, has approved the M-DDC as a certified defensive driving course.
- In Alberta, students who successfully complete the M-DDC, receive a 3 point demerit reduction on their drivers license
- For other provinces, it means that a government regulatory body has reviewed the course, ensuring that it is comparable to other currently available defensive driving programs both in Alberta, and across Canada.
